Prisoner

You don’t always need to have a jailer to become a prisoner,

When you are a prisoner to your inner demons and monsters.

For we are all prisoners to our thoughts, weaknesses, and fears,

They are the invisible jailers.

We all fight these devils, just not the same devils.

I am a prisoner to my thoughts,

I strive to be good,

Do good,

Be better for those around me.

But this, and you say what?

That I did nothing?

No, I did a lot of hard works,

But the jailers wouldn’t let it pay off so easily.

Because I’ve got no bailer.

Would you be my bailer?

To rescue me from these jailers.

I simply need a bailer to rescue me from these jailers.
